Sensor fusion, and especially raw-sensor fusion, is instrumental in optimizing the all-around performance of multimodal perception systems. Examining pros and cons of centralised and distributed architectures for ADAS and Autonomous vehicles. Considering integration challenges, radar performance and camera fusion.
